Halloween 2016 Look: Vampire Bride

Halloween 2016 Look: Vampire Bride

Halloween is coming Girls. The season to be scary is here, so this year I am Channelling the Vampire Bride. I used plum, black and purple eyeshadows to create the dark under eye area. The next challenge was to draw the veins, I have used black Lancome eyeshadow with a wet Real Technique Lip Liner brush to draw the lines that represent the veins.

I added the black veil to authenticate the look more. I hope you guys like the look and I look forward to your comments 🙂

A day time Puja Look, Navratri Makeup, Indian Festival Makeup Look

Hello My Girls!!

How are you? Hope everyone is busy in Navratri Celebrations 🙂

Today I am going to share with you the look I have planned for Ashtami Puja. Being from a Sikh Family I am not much familiar with the customs related to Navratri but I do participate heartedly in Ashtami Puja and help my Mother in Law.

This look is perfect for Day time festivities, I have kept the focus on eyes and used a peachy orange Miss Claire Lip Cream to complement the dress I am wearing.

You can try this look for Day time festivities, traditional theme party, Puja etc.

My Review

The brand defines the color of this Lipstick as Pinkish Brown. It looks more Brown on me with slight pink undertone. The main reason to buy this Lipstick was the color, I am going through a phase where I am liking nudes, warm pinks and other neutral colors. But you all know how difficult it is to choose a Nude shade which compliments your Skin tone rather than washing it out. When I swatched this color at store, I knew it would be perfect for everyday wear. This is my go to color on days when I am in mood to wear a subtle and warm color.

Next thing that appealed to me and made me buy this lipstick is Packaging, it gives the feel of a high end brand. The lipstick case consists of Metallic grey and rose gold color, I like the concept that it has a button on the top and you have to press it to take the lipstick out of the case. Kudos to Kiko for such an impressive packaging.

The texture of the lipstick is creamy and formula is non-drying. It’s the kind of lipstick which has the creamy finish but has good pigmentation. I really really like the finish of Kiko gossamer emotion 105, it is not super glossy or super creamy. The pictures below will give you a clear idea of the finish.

Kiko gossamer emotion 105 is insanely pigmented, one swipe of color is needed to have the opaque and even finish.

It stays on me for 6-7 hours, I am wearing it to office religiously from past few days. It survives the lunch but fades from the inner corner of the mouth (nothing noticeable though). It requires touch up after wear time of 6-7 hours or if you eat oily food.

My Rating and Verdict: 5/5. I am really intrigued by this particular range and will buy more colors, If I have to compare I will say that its finish and formula is very close to MAC Girl About Town which is from their Amplified Crème Lipstick Range, I know it would be too much to say but believe me it is very close to it. I recommend it!!
