MAC Isabel and Ruben Toledo Lipstick Sin
MRP: Rs. 1600
Fashion’s most romantic couple, Isabel and Ruben Toledo, are famous for their award-winning and imaginative work in fashion design and illustration. This is their one of a kind collaboration with MAC.
So you might have read our story here about how we get hold of the MAC Isabel and Ruben toledo Lipstick SIN. Without wasting much of the time let us jump straight to the review now.
Packaging: Well, Packaging is cute and quirky at the same time. Isabel and Ruben Toledo lend their vibrant eye for fashion and art to a collection of irreverent colour designed to inspire endless play. The specially designed white packaging features Ruben’s illustrations, an array of graphic lines and red-lipped faces brought to life with his one-of-a-kind aesthetic.
Color: The Color is a deep dark burgundy red, frankly speaking when we both firstly checked the collection we were not very excited with the lipstick shades. Other than this shade, they have three reds, one peachy nude, one orange which is almost like MAC Lady Danger and we already have that. We were confused and was not in a mood to buy any more of the red, orange or nudes so we settled upon SIN although it belongs to permanent range.
Texture: Being this matte shade, the texture is dry in nature. The texture highlights dry and flaky lips.
Application: The Lipstick has an extremely matte finish and can tug at your lips during application. I never wear any matte lipsticks without applying the lip balm underneath and advise you all to apply the lip balm first.
Pigmentation: This lipstick is insanely pigmented 😉 It goes opaque in single swipe.
Longevity: I had a wear time of 7-8 hours(snacks and meals included) with slight fading from the corner of lips which doesn’t look bad if you do not have time for touch-up.
- Nice and Quirky packaging.
- Beautiful color, it brightens your face immediately.
- Matte Finish
- Insanely pigmented.
- Long wear time.
- Feels dry on lips after few hours.
- Need to exfoliate and moisturize your lips beforehand.
My Verdict: Well.. the color is to die for but NOT for FAINT HEARTED, however you can control the intensity of color during application. But If you are a Matte lover like me and love to experiment with colors then this LIPSTICK is FOR YOU 🙂
