The credit goes to Komal of Delhifashionblogger for introducing this brand to me, I have seen her wearing a red shade from this brand in 2-3 of her videos and I was obsessed with it. This brand is not very known in India, however it is easily available online. I got it from a nearby store called Venus.
If i go by the official website, there are 40 colors in this range. I have mentioned the Link of website above in case you want to check the entire range.
Diana of London 2000 Kisses Sunset Red is Maroon based red color liquid lipstick which is perfect for Dark to Medium to Fair Indian Skin tone. It is the kind of red which would make you happy, glowy and gonna get you lots of compliments 🙂
The texture of the Lipstick is smooth and thick, which is a huge PLUS as it makes the application very easy and precise. The sponge applicator deserves a special mention for being very user friendly and easy to use. The liquid lipstick sets into Matte finish within a couple of minutes leaving a very beautiful matte finish… Kudos to the brand for coming up with such an amazing matte finish.
Few of the bloggers complained about the lipstick setting into the lip lines however I have not experienced such an issue. It does make the lips dry after 4-5 hours but does not feel uncomfortable on lips.
Sunset Red is very longgggg lasting, the longest I wore it was i guess for 8 hours and it stayed put the whole time. It survive meals, drinks etc. I usually wear it on days when i know that I won’t be having any time for touch-ups. The brand has recommended using a lip liner underneath this lipstick, however this shade is superbly pigmented and I usually do not use any lip liner with it.
It can be removed by a water or oil based makeup remover and it does not leave any stain behind.
I guess that is it, i have covered up all the important aspects 🙂
My Rating: 5/5. I Highly recommend this lipstick. If you are a matte lover, you have to have it. Believe me, its worth the praise 🙂
